in upstream 3.6.23. Don't know if severe, panic action is emailing me.

Sadly non-security issues are no longer in scope for Samba 3.6 /
wheezy, so I'm closing this bug.

As you indicate it is fixed in a later version, I trust this won't
trouble you on the Samba 4.2 and later in current packages.
