I apply the Debian boot logo patch to the kernel prior to compilation,
and with having a dual CPU host, I get two Debian boot logo icons at
the top of the screen.

When the boot icons are displayed, they are put on top of the Debian
boot logo image.

Would it be possible for the boot icons to clear this portion of the
screen prior to being displayed, so that their image is not just put
on top of the boot logo icons?
