Package: openjdk-6-jre-headless
Version: 6b17~pre3-1
Severity: wishlist

JCC [0] needs linking against libjava.so. However this library is not
in standard paths nor available via ld.so.conf.
Right know JCC needs to set an RPATH to load that library, which should
be avoided [0].

Making libjava.so available via a /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ file would solve
this issue.

For reference: a Fedora bug report [1] and thread [2]
on the same issue.

Hi,

openjdk-6 was last released with Debian 7.0 (wheezy), which had its LTS
support end nearly a year ago and which has now been archived.
I'm therefore closing the remaining openjdk-6 bugs, assuming they are no
longer relevant for newer (and still supported) openjdk releases.

Andreas
