Package: xpdf
Version: 2.02-2
Severity: wishlist
Currently, cat foo.pdf |xpdf -; fails with Error: Couldn't open file '-'
It would be useful if xpdf could handle reading a pdf from standard
input, instead of relying on temp files to handle this functionality.

I think they misspelled this. Shouldn't it be "Operation Just 'Cause"?

Hi,
I see that poppler utils like pdftotext and pdftops have gained the
ability to work with stdin/stdout, while xpdf itself has learned to deal
with compressed files like report.pdf.gz or plans.pdf.bz2 through its
wrapper. I think the features requested in this bug are all present now,
so I'm closing this bug (after almost two decades!).
