The main reason I'm writing is to politely ask you to please forward something like an enhancement request or bug report to gnumeric's fine upstream maintainers. I'd like gnumeric's "=now()" time function to be more precise. My testing and reading suggest the most precise time gnumeric's =now() currently supports is 1 second intervals. This is done with time formats like "[mm]:ss". However localc (Libre Office Calc), and evidently also Excel, can format times with much greater precision. Like in milliseconds. localc supports it with the "MM:SS.000" format.
