With the Debian gnus package installed,
the two gnus manuals in Info say
This manual corresponds to Gnus 5.9.0.
This manual corresponds to Gnus v5.11.
However gnus-version = "No Gnus v0.4"

Please stop CC'ing non-Debian lists when reporting Debian bugs.

This is because the `gnus' Debian package doesn't ship the manual, it's
under the GFDL.

(The 5.9.0 manual corresponds to Emacs 21, and the 5.11 manual
corresponds to emacs-snapshot.)
