I would advise that you to
- fix the clean rule so that it does not break
- not to run autoconf/automake at build time; run them before, so that
the changes go into the .diff.gz. This is both more reliable, and
makes the build reproducible and less fragile in the face of
autotools version changes or other issues on the build daemons.
Also, in debian/control, the wx2.6-headers in your Build-Depends is
redundant, being provided via a libwxgtk2.6-dev dependency.
