Hi there!

I noticed that with recent versions of Courier IMAPd, a subdirectory "courierimapkeywords" is created in every Maildir folder.

This subdir holds some meta information on the messages in its parent folder. [1]

However, when I expunge messages, the actual message is deleted, but the "shadow" file with the same base file name in the courierimapkeywords subdir isn't. I didn't find a config option to disable the courierimapkeywords subdir, which would be desirable.

This probably goes to upstream, but I'm reporting it to the Debian BTS as I'm using the Debian package.

Alex

I am going to close this bug report as there was no response to my previous
email. I assume that this was fixed by an upstream release during the
intervening years. Please feel free to reopen this bug report if you are
still experiencing this issue.
