Dear BTS,
It would be great if GNU Screen had a typing wrist break reminder
feature, like xwrits or workrave, built in. Such a feature would
interrupt your Screen session ("lock your Screen?") every hour and
stop you from typing for 5 minutes.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for your feature request.
This feature request is quite old and has not seen any activity in
almost 10 years.
I don't believe this is screen's responsibility to implement.
By now, I'm sure you will have found an alternative solution, or perhaps
even a quick shell script to achieve this.
