Using a serial cable for the S56 I am unable to get obexftp to connect.
I am able to send sms messages with another tool, scmxx so I know that
the serial connection is OK.
I am available to run any kind of tests the upstream developers would
like to diagnose differences/issues with this phone.
The command I'm using is:
obexftp -t /dev/ttyS1 --info
The message is
Custom transport set to 'Siemens/Ericcson'
Connecting:...failed: connect
Still trying to connect
(repeats...)

Hi,
The solution is to use the correct UUID value (see option --uuid). While 'FBS'
works with bluetooth and irda, serial cable only works with 'S45'.
I tested this with S55 and the DCA-500. Since the S56 is only the american
version of it, it should works equally well.
