Pressing tab allows for autocompletion of nicknames. For instance, if I type
"al<tab>", a list of alternatives is displayed:
Alam_Linux alexscott alice|wl_ alie alkalineX Althaser altoid
Suppose I want to select altoid. If I add the extra 't' and press tab, then
"Altoid: " gets automatically selected, which is not what I want. I would
instead expect xchat to display "Althaser altoid", prompting me to specify
further which one I want.
