Yes, it seems my configuration of bugreport does some weird things like 
posting on bug.debian.org, but without send a copy to package maintainers.
Maybe I have a problem with my configuration, but I don't find it. Maybe you

Yes, it still happens. I can't be sure it happens only with smartsuite, but 
smartsuite is the only package I notice that. In .xsession-errors, I see now 
the message :

/usr/bin/env -u 
XAUTHORITY=/tmp/libgksu1.2-OI2l4e/.Xauthority /usr/sbin/synaptic

I use the latest version in sid (0.55+cvs20041119-1).
Let me know if I can give you more information.
