The default font image in minetest upstream was produced from a non-free font so we could not include it in Debian. The Debian minetest package uses the default font image embedded in the irrlicht engine, which happens to be very small. If you want a workaround for this issue, you can copy the upstream font file to here: /usr/share/minetest/clienttextures/fontlucida.png I read somewhere that irrlicht upstream is working on TrueType vector fonts so this will probably get fixed at some point to make things use the default system fonts. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
