Samba/Winbind generate a lot of different log files. Do you want excerpts from the log.%m (the "client log files), winbind.log and winbind-idmap logs? Any other places I should look to help generate good debugging information?
I'm also trying to work the issue in the samba mailing list. It seems other people have had the same symptoms but there's not much consensus on the underlying cause. I'm happy to push this upstream if necessary. I'm not using the 3.6.5 packages from backports, just the regular squeeze packages. Is it preferable to be using 3.6.5 from backports?
