Package: phpmyadmin Severity: wishlist It would be nice if Debian's configuration files for phpMyAdmin would allow for other packages (say MySQL or control panels) to automatically configure new servers into phpMyAdmin.
We would need a /etc/phpmyadmin/conf.d directory that would be included in /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php, then other packages could just drop files in there to configure phpMyAdmin. The alternative is to edit /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php right now, which is in violation of Debian's Policy (section 10.7.4 "Sharing configuration files"). I can provide sample PHP code to implement this if you are open to the idea. Thanks!
