Already happened many months ago. See 0.8.2 release. It is just not
packaged in Debian yet.

There are two guys who are working (well, kind of) on packaging
0.8.2: Bartosz Fenski and Michal Zubryk (cc:). Unfortunately, they
are busy and they probably could use some help.

this bug probably should be considered RC soon as the package is not
usable in this state.

Sure you can raise the severity although I'm working on this package
right now.
Also, when someone does an update, please remove myself from the
maintainers list. I barely have time for upstream maintenance, much
less for distro-specific things.
