Thank you.  Seem to work as I want with the PDF table of content. :)

Yes.

I wished the table of content in the PDF pages would have some visual
indication too to flag which chapters are included in a part (for
example indentation), but am happy with the current result for now.
:)

Btw, the links in the PDF document have changed for me with this
change.  Now they have red boxes around the clickable area when I view
them in okular.  Is this intended?
