As far as I understand this discussion, this patch is obsolete wrt. current chmsee code, so I'm under the impression this bug report should be closed. Did I miss anything? (The following discussion, about failing to build on Ubuntu, seems more or less disconnected, and there are probably better places to track it than this very bug.)
