Package: base Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, my computer is a HP microserver and hasn't a sound car. My graphic card is a Sapphire Radeon HD6450 with a HDMI output. My monitor Eizo Fs233 has a HDMI input and I want to use the HDMI output of the video card for sound. With the default radeon driver I don't have no sound. In the sound settings I try "Test speakers" and it says it is everything good, but I can't hear any sound. If I remove the radeon driver and install the ati proprietary driver (fglrx driver) I can hear sound. But with the fglrx driver after two or three days I get a blank screen and I must reinstall the system. Can you fix the problem with the radeon driver?
