in fact: yes. nsca is nowadays poorly supported upstream. Every update breaks
something (same counts for nagios..) and the fixes often breaks more. I am
sorry that it is that way but I can't change anything about it. If I have too
much time I should get myself down and write a proper nsca / nrpe
replacement. But who has time...
