Do you mean a daily build here? Or is this just the day you downloaded it? > uname -a: / > Date: 10/24/05 10:48 pm > Method: cd/rom install, burned iso image onto cd-rw Which ISO was this (netboot, netinstall, businesscard, full set)? > Machine: gateway > Processor: pentium 4 1.8 ghz > Memory: 640 mb > Root Device: ? > Root Size/partition table: ? > Output of lspci and lspci -n: ? > > Base System Installation Checklist: > [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = > didn't try it > > Initial boot worked: [O] > Configure network HW: [E] > Config network: [ ] > Detect CD: [ ] > Load installer modules: [ ] > Detect hard drives: [ ] > Partition hard drives: [ ] > Create file systems: [ ] > Mount partitions: [ ] > Install base system: [ ] > Install boot loader: [ ] > Reboot: [ ] > > Comments/Problems: > > I inserted the CD, booted the computer, the Debian > screen came up and I hit enter, it showed a bunch of > junk on the screen, seemed like it was loading > something, then on the monitor (not displayed by the > computer, it was on the actual monitor), it said "Out > of Range" along with some numbers. Just turn it off by using "install debian-installer/framebuffer=false" (see help screen F8), and look if it works then. Hope this helps ;-) Bye Christian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
