This very old bug has dropped below radar because there is no links-ssl
package anymore. The Maintainer of links suggests that it might be a
duplicate of #509469.
this bug is about upgrade from links1 to links2, my was about 0.96
deficiences comparing to 0.92.
You taking the time to look at it and comment on it would be much
appreciated, so we can think about what to do next (close, reassign to
links, etc.).
I have no clue.
The test case I mentioned is gone since 2002 IIRC (when the bank I
mentioned swapped their software to something different). I personally
stopped using links to access virtual banking at similar time, internet
is better nowadays and graphic versions work fine ;-)
So likely the only thing one can do is to close as "ignored so long that
it is not reproducible anymore".
