Package: acpid
Version: 1:2.0.18-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
First of all i am not sure if this is the package related with the bug it also
may be acpi acpi-support or any other one.

This happens in jessie, sid and with all the differents kernels aviable in the
repositories. I have also tried amd64 with the same results.

I installed jessie with netinstall and minimal installation. In the first boot
without desktop enviroment installed brigthness function keys works perfectly.

After installing plasma-desktop and several packages (including fglrx-driver)
and rebooting the system the brightness control is not working anymore.

Even if y change /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness or
/sys/class/backlight/toshiba/brigthness there are no results.

I don't know what esle can i say about the problem.

Please Let me now if i can gather more information.

Thanks

Iker
