one learns that xsnow is virtually unusable in modern environments because of a four year old license violation. Your upstream web page, http://www.euronet.nl/~rja/Xsnow/, shows that version as still being the most recent release. This is not an ideal situation. Could you please either remove the version containing toon_root.c from your web page or relicense the whole thing under the GPL?
