Package: ntpdate Version: 1:4.2.0a+stable-8.1 Severity: wishlist
Ntpdate slows the boot process, especially when there is a problem (in name resolution, or no internet connection available...). Is it possible to have an option to make ntpdate running in background at startup ? This option could make ntpdate running with '&' at the end of the command line.
