Thanks for taking the time for this, I do think it's Cheese related because guvcview worked perfectly. Also my older Logitech webcam had this problem in the past, with only Cheese. I'll try it with Cheese again soon, the only problem is that I won't be home until after the weekend. I'll keep you up to date.
