Package: po4a
Version: 0.22-1
Severity: normal

When I run `po4a` to translate some LaTeX slides into Italian, I get
an error message and no output:

% LANG=C po4a po4a.rc
 (53 entries)
Error while running msgmerge: Bad file descriptor
% cat po4a.rc
[po4a_langs] it
[po4a_paths] slides.pot $lang:$lang.po
[type: latex] slides.po4a.tex $lang:slides.po4a.$lang.tex
%

I have made the LaTeX file available at
<http://www.nbi.dk/%7Esparre/temp/slides.po4a.tex> and the translation
database at <http://www.nbi.dk/%7Esparre/temp/it.po>.
