Package: synaptic
Version: 0.81.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Synaptic has sometimes to display messages during installation of packages
(like maintener warnings)
If python-gtk2 and python-glade2 are not present, the installation process is
stucked as the user has to validate the message. The message is shown instead
in the console, but the console is hidden by default so the user has no clue to
know why the install is stalled and what he has to do. Therefore to get the
normal synaptic experience, I think the packages needed to popup the messages
during installation should part of the dependencies of the synaptic package
