Package: libhiredis0.10
Version: 0.10.1-7

Seems that current stable version of hiredis has some memory corruption issue.
Please take a look on this gist
https://gist.github.com/antmat/eef39309badc7f24cc5d (please note, that
redis-server should be available by specified host/port as there is no check
for NULL for redisReply). On version from debian package and from 0.10 and from
0.10.1 compiled myself from source this gist produces a segmentation fault due
to memory corruption. However this problem disappear if I compile and use 0.11
version. I’ve already opened an issue on hiredis github page here
https://github.com/redis/hiredis/issues/244
I personnally find this issue critical but I don’t have any simple fix except
upgrading stable version to 0.11 but AFAIK this is prohibited by debian policy.
It’s the first time I report a bug to debian, so please forgive me if I’ve made
something wrong. If you need some more details I would be glad to provide them.
Thanks.

Best regards,
Matveenko Anton
