I searched the current source package lists for packages that build-depend on one of the Boost 1.49 packages and came up with just four, of which only one is a true issue. Details below.
In summary I believe the removal of boost 1.49 can proceed now. * luabind - has Boost 1.49 in alternatives that also include 1.54 and 1.55 - false positive * subcommander - truly build-depends on 1.49, but trial rebuild with libboost-all-dev succeeds - filed #754246, and uploaded NMU to fix it * widelands - version in testing OK: build-deps include libboost-dev | libboost1.54-dev - false positive * ogre - version 1.7 build-deps on Boost 1.49 - is obsolete, slated for removal (#723866) - false positive Thanks, -Steve
