Unfortunately this one affects other packages (see that #723866 is blocked by #704786 which is blocked by #736315 and #734961). I know it's tempting to just slice the gordian knot by removing boost1.49, but this ought to be unwound properly. Once that's resolved and your subcommander NMU, I agree it's ready to go. Scott K
