I recently uploaded pycurl 7.19.5-2, which is built against gnutls28 and I've not been able to reproduce this bug. The url given in the example is no longer valid (not surprisingly, since this is an *old* bug ;), but I've tried several other https urls including:
* My launchpad page * https://wiki.debian.org/Python * https://bugs.python.org/issue19021 * https://www.gnu.org And none of them have any problem.
