Good point. I have no idea how to proceed with this. Although, I would
agree with Joachim (see below) that for the time beeing libcerf can be
considered a complement to glibc. In addition, once glibc provides the
functionality the C99 standard demands, the transition from libcerf to
glibc would be easy as the names are function names are already correct.

Ok - this is my pragmatic point of view. Is there an official policy how
to deal with such issues?
