*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? Installed "easymp3gain", the program opens up, but when trying to use it to manipulate volume of audio files like mp3, suddendly a message appears at the bottom of the application box with the following message: "Cannot start mp3gain. Installed?" I looked into the "usr/bin" file folder and could not find the "mp3gain" file program. Tried to run from command line to see if I could get error messages from the application but the system says "command not found". -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages easymp3gain-qt depends on: ii easymp3gain-data 0.5.0+svn135-5 ii libc6 2.19-13 ii libqt4pas5 2.5-12 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-3 ii vorbisgain 0.37-2 easymp3gain-qt recommends no packages.
