I have just updated an updated `ruby` package to that same repository, which will help with the upgrade path. It just adds a Conflicts: ruby-activesupport-2.3 relationship. I will propose a ruby stable update with that very package. When testing with mysql, though there is one problem: at the redmine redmine postinst runs, mysql is stopped so the redmine upgrade will fail. One might want to upgrade mysql-server first, and then upgrade the rest of the system.
