I would have gone upstream if Paolo hadn't immediately jumped in and
started diagnosing this.

I was hesitant to suggest "wontfix" for something that's really
"cantfix", which is what it sounds like.  But whichever you prefer.

Also, I don't think "minor" is appropriate here.
