Not directly. While writing this description, I thought of a separate list for announcements (program deadlines, welcome emails and such) that would be easier to follow for people who don't want to get all the traffic from the reports. I think it's a good idea to migrate the current list "as-is" and to think about splitting off in a potential second step, if there's consensus that the traffic is too high.
