This is *not* the same bug.
1. You see completely different error messages
2. His bug was caused by incompatible versions of tetex-base and
tetex-extra (AFAICT), meanwhile your was caused by having anywhere
incompatible versions of pool files. These were not changed since
uploading teTeX 3.0 to unstable.

- locate mf.pool mp.pool tex.pool pdfetex.pool omega.pool
- kpsewhere mf.pool mp.pool tex.pool pdfetex.pool omega.pool
(if installed)
- dlocate mf.pool mp.pool tex.pool pdfetex.pool omega.pool
?
