Probably I could have double guessed I was supposed to search the WNPP bug db, but in this case I did not. Pointing at it directly would have been relevant. Considering what's been written in the DPMT list and what happened there recently, I wouldn't understand if it wasn't possible to impose communicating *properly* on the faith of this package.
