Thanks. I read it and for me it works fine (on this machine) again.

Well, on this machine I did not define anyting and just jused the
default parameters which should not render the machiine (almost)
inoperable. They might not be perfect, there I agree.

(And in the case of ffmpeg I don't even know what to enter, ffmepg is
gone, isn't it?).

Exactly, since this VM is seldomly used I did not bother optimizing
the settings. And in this case I wasn't even aware that the problem
was coming from here.
