Yes, this is the upstream issues with 0.3.7x branch and it is solved
with 0.4.2, but also here are some parts that I am thinking about:
0.3.78 is still stand alone and 0.4.2 is dependent on youtube-dl
(although if you use mpsyt by default it will pull youtube-dl with mpv).

You should also notice that pafy upstream is both python2 and python3
currently I just choose to remove the python2 support because: a)
upstream will eventually become python3 only; b) there were no reverse
dependencies at that moment (now I know for at least one which
complicates a bit situation but nothing unsolvable)

Also we have
https://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/python-policy/ch-python3.html
to learn about some statements regarding python2 and python3

In Debian we don't tell people what they should do but talk to them (via
bug reports) to see what can be done about it, wait for developer to do
it or send a patch :)

Thanks for using Debian and this package!

You should maybe know this about deb-multimedia.org:
https://wiki.debian.org/DebianMultimedia/FAQ#There_is_.27Debian_Multimedia_Maintainers.27_and_.27deb-multimedia.org.27._So_what.27s_the_difference.3F
