Hello,
since few days Jitsi freezes at startup: its interface it unusable, but it
still can receive calls. I update my laptop daily (dist-upgrade) and I suspect
it happend with one of updates concerning some gui library (systray). I
installed Jitsi years ago and it worked till last week.
This is what I see if I launch from console:
