Package: nvidia-kernel-dkms Version: 352.79-3 Severity: normal Since 352.79-2, -m64 is no longer passed to gcc during conftest and it fails horribly, spilling a lot of #errors in its output. Downgrading to 352.79-1 solved the issue for me, but won't work for long. :-(
