Oh, that was easier than I expected :-) Thanks! And I fixed it for 340 in svn, too. Luckily Kbuild exports the KBUILD_CFLAGS variable, so I can use it from within conftest.sh. conftest.sh's CFLAGS is internal to the script in this version, so I cannot manipulate it from the Makefiles. Andreas
