Ok, now how shall I do that, modprobe ide-cd loads that module I looked in the cdrecord manual and in the cdrecord.conf but did not find any reference to that options. Of course I can't just rmmod ide-scsi, that will lead to a collapse of my system. Another possibility would be to recompile the kernel which I have to do anyhow. CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDESCSI=n Sorry for that elementary question. Uwe Brauer -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
