Package: scanbd
Version: 1.4.4-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

when configuring user = saned in the global section of scanbd.conf, scanbd
itself is running as user saned, but the effective UID remains root. This leads
to the situation that any scripts that are executed by scanbd, will act as user
root. The expected result is, that the effective UID is set to saned as well.

Best regards,
Andreas.
