The package installs the /usr/bin/js24-config script. However, how is one supposed to know that it is js24-config one needs to call to figure out, say, compile options, rather than js38-config or so. Could there be a js-config link? One could then call e.g. js-config --version Or is there another way for a program which would want to embed SpiderMonkey to figure out which is the installed version and hence discovering which js-config it is supposed to call?
