Hi Wookey, hi Daniel! Both these patches look very promising and I'm all for applying them, I'm currently in the situation on powerpcspe.
However, it seems that debian/control still needs to be amended with the necessary <!stage1> statements if I'm not mistaken. At least I had to add that to build avahi on powerpcspe. Adrian -- .''`.
