I'd like to see qwt properly team maintained, preferably within an
existing team (Debian Science seems a good candidate) instead of using a
single individual as Maintainer.

If that move it accompanied by the switch to git, I'm willing to be move
structurally involved in qwt packaging because it's an important
dependency of one of my packages too, although I also don't want to be
the sole maintainer.

Gudjon, please consider a more formal team structure for the maintenance
of the qwt package.
