Dear Release Team, I'm filing this bug for a new transition of glew package. On July 24, 2016 the 2.0.0 actual stable version has been released by upstream. On September 05, 2016 a testing-purpose package has been uploaded to experimental and it was tested building all its 73 reverse dependencies on the Deb-o-Matic infrastructure on amd64 architecture. Following the auto-glew checklist[1], here is the list of source packages depending on glew and the results of the builds: * analitza (4:16.04.0-2) -> OK * arb (6.0.3-1) -> FTBFS * avogadro (1.0.3-13.1) -> FTBFS * ball (1.4.3~beta1-1) -> FTBFS * bino (1.6.3-1) -> FTBFS [G] * blender (2.77.a+dfsg0-8) -> OK * bzflag (2.4.6-1) -> OK * calligra (1:2.8.5+dfsg-1.2) -> FTBFS * cegui-mk2 (0.8.7-1.3) -> OK * choreonoid (1.5.0+dfsg-0.1) -> OK * chromium-browser (53.0.2785.92-1) -> OK * clementine (1.3.1+dfsg-1) -> OK * colobot (0.1.8-2) -> OK * darkradiant (2.0.4-1) -> OK * dreamchess (0.2.1-RC2-2) -> OK * endless-sky (0.8.11-1) -> OK * freeorion (0.4.5+git20160707-2) -> OK * frogatto (1.3.1+dfsg-3) -> OK * fs-uae (2.6.2+dfsg-4) -> OK * gambas3 (3.8.4-6) -> OK * gem (1:0.93.3-10) -> OK * gemrb (0.8.4-1) -> OK * gimp-plugin-registry (7.20140602) -> OK * gource (0.44-1) -> OK * hedgewars (0.9.22-dfsg-7) -> OK * hugin (2016.2.0~rc1+dfsg-2) -> OK * imagevis3d (3.1.0-4) -> FTBFS * k3d (0.8.0.5-4) -> FTBFS [G] * kalzium (4:16.04.0-1) -> OK * kicad (4.0.2+dfsg1-4) -> FTBFS * kodi (16.1+dfsg1-2) -> FTBFS * kodi-visualization-spectrum (1.0.14+git20151213-1) -> OK * libgltf (0.0.2-4) -> OK * libreoffice (1:5.2.0-2) -> * lightspark (0.7.2+git20150512-2.1) -> OK * linphone (3.6.1-2.6) -> OK * logstalgia (1.0.7-1) -> OK * megaglest (3.12.0-2) -> OK * mesa-demos (8.3.0-1) -> OK * meshlab (1.3.2+dfsg1-2) -> FTBFS * mupen64plus-video-z64 (2.0.0+13+g72af4f0-5) -> OK * mygui (3.2.2-4) -> OK * nestopia (1.47-2) -> OK * nvidia-texture-tools (2.0.8-1+dfsg-8) -> FTBFS * openclonk (7.0-3) -> OK * opencolorio (1.0.9~dfsg0-6) -> OK * opencsg (1.4.0-1) -> OK * openctm (1.0.3+dfsg1-1.1) -> * openimageio (1.6.17~dfsg0-1) -> OK * openlugaru (0~20110520.1+hge4354+dfsg-5) -> OK * openmsx (0.12.0-2) -> OK * openscad (2015.03-1+dfsg-3) -> OK * otb (5.6.1+dfsg-1) -> OK * paraview (5.1.2+dfsg1-1) -> OK * phlipple (0.8.5-2) -> OK * projectm (2.1.0+dfsg-4) -> OK * psychtoolbox-3 (3.0.12.20160414.dfsg1-1) -> FTBFS [G] * quesoglc (0.7.2-5) -> FTBFS [G] * rbdoom3bfg (1.0.3+repack1+git20151124-2) -> OK * renpy (6.99.10+dfsg-1) -> OK * rss-glx (0.9.1-6) -> OK * scorched3d (44+dfsg-1) -> OK * sofa-framework (1.0~beta4-11) -> OK * solvespace (2.1+repack2-1) -> OK * spring (103.0+dfsg-1) -> OK * supertux (0.4.0-1) -> OK * trigger-rally (0.6.2+dfsg-1) -> OK * tulip (4.8.0dfsg-2) -> OK * utopia-documents (2.4.4-2.1) -> FTBFS * vtk6 (6.3.0+dfsg1-1) -> OK * warzone2100 (3.1.1-3) -> OK * widelands (1:18-3) -> OK * witty (3.3.5+dfsg-1) -> FTBFS Few packages are FTBFS, but only those (4) marked with [G] fail for some possible issues with GLEW.
